Abstract
"A 54-year-old woman had subacute blurred vision, pain with eye movement, dyschromatopsia, and papilledema in both eyes. MRI performed with impression of optic neuritis showed abnormal contrast enhancement in both posterior sclera. Her symptoms were improved after high-dose intravenous steroid treatment with diagnosis of posterior scleritis. Posterior scleritis could be easily overlooked because of rarity and similarity to other ocular diseases such as optic neuritis. Physicians should be aware of this disease because delayed treatment leads to permanent visual loss. Journal of Multiple Sclerosis 1(2):67-70, 2010"
