Abstract
"Longitudinal extensive transverse myelitis (LETM) due to tuberculosis is uncommon. A 65-year-old man presented with clinical and radiologic features of LETM. Cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) analysis revealedprominent pleocytosis, increased protein, decreased glucose and increased adenosinedeaminase. The patient was diagnosed with tuberculosis LETM and treated with steroid and anti-tuberculosismedications. His symptoms and neurologic deficits disappeared and follow-upwhole-spine magnetic resonance imaging was normal. Tuberculosis meningitis should be consideredin cases of LETM when the CSF profile of a patient with LETM is abnormal. Journal of Multiple Sclerosis 9(2):34-37, 2018"
