- Abstract
- "Neuromyelitis optica spectrum disease (NMOSD) is an idiopathic inflammatory disorder of the central nervous system characterized by extensive longitudinal and transverse myelitis. Although thepathogenesis of NMOSD needs to be elucidated, a reported related antigen is aquaporin 4 (AQP4).Moreover, an AQP-4 Ab seropositive tendency among patients with NMOSD supports the validity ofhigh coexistence of autoimmune diseases such as systemic lupus erythematosus and Sj?grensyndrome.
