Abstract
"The globus pallidus is the most common site of abnormalities in acute carbon monoxide intoxication. However, the vulnerable structures in the brain with delayed encephalopathy have not been knownyet. We report three patients with delayed encephalopathy who suffered from cognitive dysfunctionafter a lucid interval after acute carbon monoxide intoxication. The magnetic resonance imagingfrom all three patients showed involvement of the centrum semiovale and corpus callosum. Journal of Multiple Sclerosis 4(1):24-27, 2013"
