The Journal of Multiple Sclerosis and Neuroimmunology (JMSNI) publishes papers on disorders due to immunemediated injury of the central (CNS) and peripheral (PNS) nervous systems. The journal’s goal is to advance basic and clinical knowledge on how the nervous and immune systems interact, and how those interactions can result in diseases. JMSNI features papers that investigate many disorders that have critical neuroimmune components, such as CNS/PNS inflammatory changes, neurologic infections, neurodegeneration, and systemic autoimmune/connective tissue/inflammatory conditions. Multiple sclerosis (MS) receives special attention, because it is a critical immunemediated disorder that involves the CNS, and provides the opportunity to investigate advanced therapies in neuroimmunology.
