"Spinal arteriovenous malformations (AVMs) are rare, and cervical AVMs are particularly unusual. Spinal dural fistula is a more common form of spinal AVM, although it is often missed and, as a result,is underdiagnosed. MRI findings can provide clues that aid in differential diagnosis, and angiographycan be used to confirm AVF.
