Abstract

"Hypertrophic pachymeningitis (HP) is a rare inflammatory disorder causing localized or diffuse thickening of the dura mater. It is posited that HP is associated with chronic inflammation. However, the exact pathophysiology of HP is not known. HP has diverse clinical manifestations including headache, cranial neuropathies, cerebellar ataxia, and seizure.
