"In 2015, the International Panel for Neuromyelitis Optica Diagnosis proposed updated neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorders (NMOSD) criteria. After the revision of the diagnostic criteria, increasing incidences of uncommon manifestations and signs in patients with NMOSD have been recently reported. We experienced a patient with neuropathic itching presenting as an initial symptom of NMOSD.
